Its a 10: Miracle Leave in Product

I consider frizz a problem for me. I hate blowdrying my hair (heck I don't even own a blowdryer!), but when it air drys the hair framing my face decides to puff up into a monster only tamed by a hot tool.

Someone else bought this for me, otherwise I wouldn't have purchased it myself. The price is, well, it's a little high. I have a tiny bottle (4oz) and that it cost a good $18. I haven't actually had to buy it myself since I haven't run out, but I likely will suffer the spendy cost and repurchase.

This is supposed to tame frizz, add shine, act as a heat spray, detangles, prevent split ends, create silkiness, and enhance natural body.

Tames frizz?
Yep! Spray this in and the hair around my face looks as sleek as the other hair.

Adds shine?
I mean, I guess it looks shiny. My hair is already pretty shiny and I can't notice a difference, but yes, I have heard it does its job here.

Acts as a heat spray?
Well...I cannot vouch for this one, unfortunately. I don't use it as a heat spray and am not planning on trying. I like to put on a lot and I would use too much of this product too frequently. Its too expensive for that.

Detangles?
Yes! If there is a major knot in my hair, you better believe I'll reach for this and spritz it in!

Prevents split ends?
I would say that it definitely makes hair feel completely healthy all around, including the ends.

Creates silkiness?
Yes! My hair feels very...mmm...slippery after this has done its job, but doesn't look greasy.

Enhances natural body?
This is the one where I am gonna have to say no, it does not. I (naturally) have some slight waves in my hair, and they are really slight, I mean. If I spray this in, my hair loses that and as a result it goes straight and flat.

Also, I have read a lot of reviews that complain about the smell. I personally don't find it bad.

Would I recommend this? Yes, I would if someone is willing to pay for it. Granted, it does last a while, but still pricey.

Spin pins?

What are these? Well, they are something that gets the job done. In all seriousness, they are a lifesaver and the perfect pin to use when putting your long locks in a bun.

Messy, imperfect buns are something that, for me anyway, need to be perfect. Try as I might, the combination of long, slippery hair sends bobby pins sliding out from wherever I put them. Sometimes they even come out bent. I went out one day with my hair up in a bun. It looked nice, and I had roughly five bobby pins in. I also believe that every five minutes I was readjusting the pins.

While I was browsing in Fred Meyer, I saw these devices. They come in a pack of two and I added them to my basket out of curiosity. While coming in a pack of two seems cheap (you don't buy only two bobby pins, do you?), Tow gets the job done, though I confess to buying more.

You literally twist this in the bit of hair you want to stay, a wah-lah! Done, and it stays. I seriously recommend this for anyone with long or slippery hair, or both. It is definitely an investment, though I don't think they were expensive by any means.

In all, yes, purchase, you won't regret it!

Thanks but no thanks, Sephora

See a difference? No? Yeah...I don't either. The only difference is the one on the left was bought from Sephora in a packet of 12 for $7. The one on the right came in a set of 60 for under $2. I am not going to say the pricey ones don't work (they do) but they work no more than the other ones.

I don't even know why I bought the Sephora ones in the first place. I always need more bobby pins, but a set of 12 for $7 doesn't seem like a good idea, but I just figured, "Hey maybe they're different. I'll give it a go." Warning: do not give it a go.

In its defense, I love all the shades of blue that it came in. Without texturizing spray, bobby pins slide out of my hair in a minute. The Sephora ones looked less shiny, almost matte. Perhaps I was thinking that they would act different. Mmm...no. I went out with these and when I felt my bangs fall in my face I felt around my hair, finding one stuck in the middle and only making its way toward the ends.

A word of advice: save your money and buy bobby pins cheap in bulk.

Style Sexy Hair: Spray Clay

My hair is silky and heavy which equals absolutely no volume or texture. If I put a bobby pin in and leave the room its half way down my hair. To say the least, this factor of my hair is annoying.

I saw this product on the shelf and I was interested in it. I had never heard of a clay spray, and quite frankly even though I now know I still don't see much of them. I bought it and eagerly went home to try it. The idea was fantastic. I went a little overboard and sprayed it so heavily that I couldn't run my hands through my own hair. Still, I pinned it up, using as many bobby pins as possible, and it all stayed!

And yes, it does give you a texturized look. If you curl your hair and spritz it on the ends or add it to the roots for volume it does just that.

I would highly recommend this myself, but it might seem not very useful for hair types that don't need the extra texturizing boost like mine. BUT if your is like mine and can't hold a bobby pin or an up-do to save its life then I would invest in this product.
