Fall Lipstick Color.

Summer is lighter, peachy tones, warm colors, and shine. Fall came and went (for me, anyway), and now winter has set in. It's time to pull out the wooly sweaters and scarves and store away the tank tops and sandals. In addition to switching out my summer wardrobe for my winter one, I also went to the mall today and bought myself one more winter-y shade of lipstick.

It was by Mac (pictured below) is a fairly dark red in the color Sin. It comes out as almost a burgundy color when applied (the first coat). I must say that it has a cool undertone, which reminds me of the colder months. It goes on matte, which is also trending this season. (By the way, I meant to take pictures while it was fresh out of the bottle, but I accidentally nicked the very tip.)

Snow has fallen AGAIN!

SECOND SNOWFALL! I really shouldn't be this excited, but let's face it. Snow means Christmas is closer, and who doesn't love Christmas?!  I actually used to hate it, to be honest. Not the actually Christmas-y part. But I travel every year because my family is so spread out. I know, I know. Everyone loves to travel, right? I, however, don't.

I hate being confined into an aircraft for any amount of time. Arriving and staying in a new place is okay, but the actual travel time makes me cringe at the thought. Trapped in a metal plane for hours, maybe a day? I can only get up to stretch my legs for a few moments? No thanks. It makes me feel very trapped and that's what I hate.

This year I am trying my hardest to not think about travel time on a plane. I am thinking of family and the good times created there. Maybe I'll sleep on the flight. That was a good thought, but I don't sleep AT ALL when I am flying or in a car.

Are you enjoying Christmas this year?

The seasons have changed.

Summer is warm and all, but fall has officially arrived. The weather is actually pretty warm, but now this past week it has gotten very cold. By this time of year three years ago it was already snowing. Even though the temperatures are below freezing, not a flake of snow has landed.

I have an ongoing battle with myself about the weather. To me, the perfect weather is cloudy yet warm. I'm not a fan of sitting in the sun, but I also don't like walking out in the biting cold. Still, I love the cold months because of the fashion and trends that come with them. Spring is wet and cold. Not my favorite season by any means.

I can look outside now and see brown leaves and naked trees. The green grass that was full of life just weeks ago is now browning in small, scattered patches. Every morning I wake up to see frost clinging to the still green pine needles and coating the lawn. It won't be long until snow, then Christmas. Yay!
